Our Institute had organized a guest lecture on topic “Gavakad Chal Mazya Dosta” by famous poet and writer Mr. Indrajit Bhalerao to inspire people specially the younger generation—to reconnect with their rural roots. President of program was Dr. Dhananjay Pawar (Shri Sant Gadge Maharaj Mahavidyalay); Program was efficiently anchored by Ms. P. A. Alabade. |
Mr. Indrajit Bhalerao’s delivery was engaging, blending rural dialect with poetic rhythm. His vivid imagery brought to life the seasons, festivals, and the day-to-day experiences of farming families. The poet recited his poems with expressive voice modulation, at times almost like singing. The tone balanced humour and deep emotion, making it relatable to both urban and rural audiences. Let’s Go to the Village, My Friend" was an invitation to witness the real, unpolished beauty of rural roads, farmlands, and hardworking villagers. Bap" (Father) was a heartfelt portrayal of a father’s relentless struggle, sacrifices, and dignity as a farmer, despite economic hardships; "Kunbyachya Pora Aata Ladhaila Shik" was a motivational call for rural youth to prepare themselves to face the modern world’s challenges without forgetting their roots and heritage. The poet highlighted both the hardships and the unique beauty of village life, addressing the rapid migration towards cities and the gradual fading of rural values. At last vote of thanks given by principal of our institute Dr. A. D. Kshirsagar sir and program was concluded.
