Our Institute had organized the program on the occasion of death anniversary of Punyashlok Ahilyabai Holkar, one of the most revered and visionary women leaders in Indian history. The event was gracefully anchored by Ms. Vaishnavi Bande, B. Pharmacy final-year student. |
Mr. G. N. Patingrao delivered an informative and heartfelt speech highlighting Ahilyabai Holkar's rule over the Malwa region from 1767 to 1795. He emphasized her qualities of being justice-loving, compassionate, and people-centric. He noted that she is remembered even today with immense respect and admiration. Following this Mr. S. M. Ambore elaborated on Ahilyabai Holkar’s visionary leadership and drew attention to her contributions in building and restoring temples, initiating education and water supply projects, and her steadfast commitment to public service. He stated, “Her life teaches us that power must be used for the welfare of the people and wealth should serve the interests of society.” He also stressed how today youth can learns about clean administration, citizen-centric policies, women’s empowerment, and communal unity from her legacy. At last vote of thanks given by Mr.Yasir Khunde and program was concluded.
